ThermoNukePanda
Well all know that the video game retailer, GAME, has been in financial troubles. If you live in Australia and you had pre-ordered tomorrow's Diablo 3 from them it's very possible that A) You're not getting the game and You'll never get a cent of the money you put down to pre-order back from the store. This was the text message you receive if the store you pre-ordered from was not going to be receiving stock of the game:Due to the appointment of an administrator to our business this morning, it is with regret that I inform you all that our stores will not be receiving any stock of diablo 3. Because of this, we regrettably will be unable to fulfill any pre-orders. Also, we will be unable to refund any deposits paid towards a pre-order of diablo 3. If you need any more info, please email customerrelations@game.com.auAll your cash you put down (and if you paid in full, I'm sorry for you) is now gone. Non-refundable. Non-transferrable. You can't even get credit to use towards another game in the store or a different pre-order. Essentially, you're screwed. I have no idea how this is legal but apparently it is from what I've read. This adds fuel to reasons why I never pre-order games. First the slew of various "pre-order exclusive bonuses" from 57 different retailers for each big release game, and now this possibility that if one of them "doesn't receive stock" of the game for whatever reason that they get to keep your money.Fuuuuuuuu...... PaNfOoT
Wow, thats really bad. I only ever pre-order off amazon and thats usually if its for a good price, otherwise i'll just wait until the game is out.
Dateranoth
Holy crap that's just wrong. Surely they can only do that if they are filing some sort of bankruptcy.
Avahra
That's unbelieveable. If I were a gamer in AU you'd bet some buildings would be on fire.
