PeeKnuckle
Dayum! Got to love them roots. I also like how many bands are heading back to those R&B roots.

green grenades
I was hoping it was about music again. Everyone already knows about movie cycles.
Dateranoth
I still liked how similar some of the scenes were though.

Kevnvek
While some of the connections felt a little loose, like some moderately similar shooting scenes, I didn't realize how many little things paralleled scenes from Ghost in the Shell. That movie (and the series in general) is amazing.
spawn622
A lot of the fight choreography wasn't just loose connections. Woo-ping Yuen did almost all the choreography for things like Drunken Master, Iron Monkey, and Once Upon A Time in China. A lot of the gun play scenes are extremely similar as well from a scene setup stance. Not direct remakes of the shots, but they are close. And yeah, the similarities to Ghost In The Shell and Akira are pretty great. As well as the Philip K. Dick speech. Crazy stuff. Dateranoth
Yeah. The speech was an awesome tie in. The fight scenes aren't as surprising. When you have a good method you tend to stick with it.
