Borderlands 2 Releasing September 18th, Take-Two Announces Borderlands 2 Premiere Club

Take-Two has announced that Borderlands 2 will be releasing on September 18th, 2012 and for those of you that pre-order the game from either Amazon or GameStop will receive access to the Borderlands 2 Premiere Club.

With access to the club you can get your hands on the Gearbox Gun Pack which includes a pack of “unique golden guns”, Vault Hunter’s Relic that will increase your gear hunting fortune, and you will also receive the Golden Key that unlocks a the Sanctuary Loot Chest that contains a rare item.

I agree with you. It's shameless and silly. I'll be pre-ordering it, though. Can't go without Borderlands 2 on launch. Don't even care about the bonuses since they'll probably suck like most. Hopefully Amazon will have a $10 or $20 gift card. I'd much rather have that.

The pre-order bonuses for borderlands 1 were pretty lame.. I just don't like game content being locked!

360 first and then on PC when it goes on sale for really cheap. Possibly the GotY edition with all the DLC.
