PlayStation 4 Game Recording Free for Everyone

    • Sony confirmed on August 8th that Game Recording will be free regardless if you are subscribed to Playstation Plus or not.

The recording feature will allow you to capture up to 15 minutes of game footage. On top of the capture feature you can share the game stream with a friend, and that friend can even take over and help you with the game.

This is a step in the right direction, but this is a small step forward in contrast to a large step back. While you can record your game without Playstation Plus, you can't play multiplayer without a subscription.

This is something that should be on every console regardless....*eyeballs Nintendo*.  I like Microsoft's version of it with the live Twitch streaming to your channel, but it's only available to gold members and I think it's something that everybody should be able to do regardless of their account status.
