PeeKnuckle
http://us.battle.net/d3/en/blog/6923456/104_Systems_Preview-8_10_2012Gotta say, I like some of these changes. Seriously.Magic Find will be independent in co-op. No more wheezing other people's MF juice. Elite packs will be weaker, and white mobs will get a slight increase in HP. Also, DPS for the last few tiers of weapons will have a greater chance at rolling high. Currently, finding a weapon with high DPS is next to impossible. Another change is they're beefing up 2 hand weapons, which was sorely needed. Besides crossbows, it's rare to find someone still using a two hand weapon. They're slow, and their stats don't get a boost in affixes to compensate for their slowness. They should hit harder if you swing them slower, etc.
PeeKnuckle
Also, reducing repair costs of high-end items by 25%.P.S. We’re getting rid of the Invulnerable Minions monster affix. <--- YES!
PeeKnuckle
Skills for all classes are receiving buffs, too. I definitely like this approach, rather than nerfing the few good skills everyone is forced to use.
Dateranoth
Sounds like they finally got the picture. The updates make the game sound playable again, but I still won't be going back to it.

PeeKnuckle
They definitely nerfed it into the ground. Took out all the fun stuff and ultimately punished the players because of the botters.
Dateranoth
Someone has to stay in here and equalize your misplaced love for a game that is simply filling the gap until Borderlands 2.
PeeKnuckle
Diablo 2 started out much the same way. It doesn't keep being played to this day, because it started out good. It wasn't until it's LoD expansion pack, that players started enjoying the game.
Dateranoth
Hmm. Must be why I don't play it today.
PeeKnuckle
Oh wow!Puzzle Ring (Ring) - This ring gives heroes a chance to summon a Treasure Goblin when they’re hit. The tooltip will be something along the lines of: "This ring sometimes calls forth a Treasure Goblin when you are hit."…I bet that will prove to be entertaining during a boss fight. http://us.battle.net/d3/en/forum/topic/6352745857#
Dateranoth
That's neat. Really though, sounds like a great time. Would be such chaos for that to trigger during heavy battles.
