Dave Brockie, lead vocalist for Gwar, aka Oderus Urungus, found dead at age 50

Sad times indeed.  Dave Brockie was found dead by fellow roommates within his residence yesterday.  Dave was 50 years old at the time, and no cause of death is yet known at this time.

 

Gwar was a legendary metal band, full of humor and even political messages.  Their crazy style of outrageousness and insane costumes, combined with killer music, will never escape my memory.

 

Rest in peace Dave.
