There is a draw back to updating your Xbox One's wireless controller through this download. There are a bunch of steps in order for it to be updated!Once you are signed into your Xbox One and on Xbox Live, plug in the Stereo Headset adapter into the bottom of your wireless controller followed by plugging in the other end to the Xbox One. Make sure to also plug in a headset!Next you will want to plug the USB cord into both your wireless controller and the Xbox One. According to IGN, the update should begin right away, however if not you will have to select the menu button on the controller and choose Settings. Once Settings has been chosen, select the System menu and choose Controller Update.
