You have three Disciplines: (Which is basically your superstat/starting best stat)

Prowess - Min/max Dmg/Att spd (Dual wielding/Medium armor)

Fortitude - Min/max Def/Supp (Zweihander/Heavy armor)

Cunning - Min/max Crit/Eva (Onehander/Light armor)

Other than those you can run any stat and armor even if you don't specialize in it.

Experience and Karma = Everything.
