streaming question

so all you guys that are streaming your games onto jtv, how are you doing it? meaning what all would i need to get to do it?

That depends if you are wanting to stream PC games or console games. With the PC you can use a driver that records everything it sees and then broadcast it to jtv. To do a console you will need some sort of capture card. Of course, you could always use a camera too.

i was thinking more of, sttreaming from the wi. ill look into capture cards, i dont know a whole bunch about all this so im sure ill be asking more questions later

However, if you're just looking at streaming the wii and don't mind playing in 480i instead of 480p there are much cheaper standard definition choices.

thanks dater, it'll take me a few paychecks to save up for it but if thats the one of choice to go with than thats what ill get. thanks for your help.

i used to have a weird belkin capture card, never found out how to record the audio. I ended up just making montage type thing with music played over it and put them on youtube.
