When the trailer for the newest Elder Scrolls V was shown at the Spike Video Game Awards last Saturday there excitement, squealing, and then confusion amongst fans of the series who have waited years to hear anything regarding a new Elder Scrolls game.
The confusion came from a tweet from Bethesda later that night in which Bethesda said, "Seeing lots of speculation about #tesv game engine. It's brand new... and it's spectacular!". Well consider yourself confused no more, because Bethesda's Community Manager, Nick Breckon has sorted the issue out. According to Breckon, Skyrim will feature a completely "brand new, internally created, gameplay and graphics engine".
The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim is coming to a PC, Xbox 360, and PS3 near you on November 11, 2011.
