Six Days in Fallujah which Konami deemed to controversial to publish in April 2009 and dropped the game, has fallen back on the radar. Atomic Games, the developers behind the first game to be directly about Operation Iraqi Freedom says the game is ready to go and will come out. There are no other details available about if Atomic Games found a publisher for the game.
Six Days in Fallujah is about the Second Battle in Fallujah that took place over a period of six days. The game focuses on a squad of United States Marines from the 3rd Battalion 1st Marines. Originally Atomic Games was working on training tools for the Marines and some of the Marines from the 3rd Battalion 1st Marines were assisting. They were later deployed to Iraq and upon returning had asked Atomic Games to develop a game showing what they went through over in Iraq. Atomic Games found Konami to publish it, but they later backed out after the media began calling Six Days in Fallujah, "a bit much too soon".
