Namco Tries to Cash In As Dark Souls Ships 1.5 Million Worldwide

Have you tried the insanely difficult and often maddening world of Namco Bandai's RPG, Dark Souls? If not, I can't say I blame you. I love insanely difficult games, however this is one I will not touch out of respect for my controller to ensure that it stays in one piece. If you have yet to try it, because you are debating on whether or not to torture yourself through grueling gameplay, then you will be happy to know that Namco has ensured that just about every gamer gets to play Dark Souls by making sure to ship 1.5 million units worldwide. So wait on my fellow gamers.

Out of the those 1.5 million worldwide units, those of us here in the United States have received the majority of the shipment at 670,000 units. Compared to the amount that Asia received, 40,000, that is a pretty beefy number. Europe received 470,000 and Japan received 370,000 units where the game was published exclusively on the Playstation 3.
