How does 26 Verizon Fios channels on the Xbox 360 sound for starting at $89.99 a month? What if I add that they are throwing in a free one year Gold subscription of Xbox Live and a free copy of Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary? Didn't think so.
Microsoft announced those details in a brief explanation of how the Verizon services will tie into their upcoming Xbox Live TV service. Unfortunately the details are disappointing.
Besides the 26 channels and the high prices, this offer is only available to customers who use Verizon Fios internet and TV services and the 26 channels will be based on the "customer's TV package". The unnamed channels will be Kinect enabled meaning everything can be controlled using voice and hand movements.
