Capcom has just bitched slapped those of you who purchased the March release of Street Fighter x Tekken with one little statement.
"There is effectively no distinction between the DLC being ''locked'' behind the disc and available for unlocking at a later date, or being available through a full download at a later date, other than delivery mechanism"
Capcom's statement was in response to the outcry from gamers regarding the on the disc DLC and unlocked at later date downloadable DLC for Street Fighter x Tekken. Just to clarify this issue even further, Capcom is saying that downloadable content on the game disc that you play on day one is no different from downloadable content that is either "locked" on the disc for a later date or downloadable content that you download at a later date from something like the Xbox Live Marketplace. Some gamers have been so outraged that they filed complaints with the Better Business Bureau citing that they are being mistreated.
As reported by Siloconera, Capcom also tried to play the blame game with Microsoft and the Xbox 360 saying their Xbox 360 brand is why there is a lack of local co-op in the fighting game. This was later proven to be false and it is indeed Capcom's doing.
