Somewhere if you listen closely you can hear the faint cries coming from fans of the uber popular cult series Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Firefly, because the online developer that was responsible for at one time working on both of their MMO's has closed it doors before the new year began.
Multiverse who first gained recognition by allowing developers to create MMO's cheaply through use of their Multiverse Platform announced through a message on their website before 2011 ended that they had to close their doors due to lack of funds.
Good news for at least Firefly fans, DarkCryo Entertainment is working on Firefly Universe Online. However for my fellow Buffy fans, we will just have to wait to re-enter the world of our favorite scoobies.
