Assassin's Creed III Collector's Editions Announced

Ubisoft announced that there will be three different collector editions of their new native american assassin twist on the Assassin's Creed series, Assassin's Creed III. The Freedom Edition, Join or Die Edition, and Special Edition will be joining the regular priced standard edition of the game. Each of the special editions come with their own bells and whistles including in game content, special packaging, and little collectable trinkets.

The Special Edition will feature a single player mission "A Dangerous Secret", and an in game weapon, the Flintlock Musket. The Join or Die Edition includes an assassin medallion and in game content of George Washington's notes on the Templars and Assassins during the Revolutionary War. Also included with the Join or Die Edition are onesingle player mission titled "The Living War" and a sniper multiplayer package that contains a new character, emblem, relic, picture, and caption that reads, "The Fool". Lastly the Freedom Edition will have steelbook packaging, a 24cm tall figure of Connor, George Washington's notes, a lithograph, two single player missions including "The Living War" and "Lost Mayan Ruins", and the sniper multiplayer package.

Also keep in mind that besides the collector edition goodies, if you preorder Assassin's Creed III from either Amazon, Gamestop, Best Buy, or Walmart you will receive a free steelbook case.
