DICE Releases Battlefield 4 PS4 Patch

DICE has released a single player and multiplayer patch for Battlefield 4 on the PS4 that fixes numerous problems that gamers have been plagued with since it's release.

The patch fixes regular crashing issues and also crashing issues associated with changing weapons and maps and crashes occurring from resuming the single player campaign.

Other fixes included in the patch are the reduction of the probability that you will get a corrupt save file in single player, a bug has been fixed that caused a connection error when accessing Playstation Plus, and improved performance when a player shoots at destroying Levolution objects.

DICE is also in the final testing phase of a patch for the Xbox 360 which will be released soon and also a new update is in the works for the PC version of Battlefield 4.

No word on when a patch will be released for the Xbox One version of Battlefield 4 where many users are complaining on the Battlefield 4 Battlelog forum of crashing during multiplayer games that kicks you back to the Xbox One dashboard frequently, joining multiplayer game connectivity issues, and reported lag. DICE had issued a statement on November 23rd that the crashing problems were reportedly fixed, however as users are posting on the Battlefield 4 forum frequent game crashing is still an ongoing issue.
