spawn622 Posted April 4, 2013 Share Posted April 4, 2013 It's the end of an era. With the release of Don McLeans's "American Pie", Harmonix is ending its weekly DLC releases for Rock Band. I don't know how many of you played or still play the game, but after 271 consecutive weeks, it's finally over. 4000 tracks and 1500 different artists later, this really is a feat that nobody else will match any time soon, if ever. Rock Band and Guitar Hero had so much promise, and were the most popular games to play for a while, yet greed took over and instead of taking time between releases and keeping players interests they ran the ship into the ground.
