Though, sometime a bit of a love affair with David Petraeus, I doubt it will change anyones already negative opinion on the man. It's still a fantastic read, giving some great insight into the single most influential figured in the modern American military. With alot of very compelling and heartbreaking stories from central figures in his battalion and other who'd worked closely with General Petraeus over the years. And it also touches on his views about support for the war dwindling over the years. The author really got a chance to pick the brain of General Petraeus and found a very dynamic and convicted man.
