Siren Posted January 22, 2015 Share Posted January 22, 2015 NetherRealm Studios released another Mortal Kombat X trailer showcasing more of what's to come or who is to come on April 15th when this long running franchise hits store shelves.Kitana, one of the more popular female characters in the franchise is shown slicing and dicing with her fans in her usual scantily blue clad attire. Perhaps what is more interesting about this announcement is that in the previous Mortal Kombat game, Kortana died along with Kung Lao who is also a returning character.As many know in the world of Mortal Kombat, characters that have died and returned is not exactly unusual, however it was previously stated that Mortal Kombat X intends to pickup immediately following the events of 2011's reboot Mortal Kombat which included Sindel's rage that killed Kortana and others.With the announcement of Kitana's return this is leading to speculation that any past characters who have been killed off in the world of Mortal Kombat may be returning including Liu Kang who also died in the reboot.via Den of Geek Click here to view the article Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
